Going urban camping in Copenhagen?

DCU Absalon Copenhagen Camp is a good starting point for a trip to Copenhagen - experience for example Tivoli Gardens, Round Tower, Strøget, The Little Mermaid and interesting museums.

The campsite is situated near Vestvolden, where you can walk or bicycle in the scenic surroundings. Less than 1 km from the campsite is Vestbadet, a swimming facility, so there is also the opportunity to unwind from the big city - while it is close.

It's easy to get to Copenhagen

from DCU Absalon Copenhagen Camp...

There is only approx. 600 m to Brøndbyøster Station, where a commuter train in only 20 minutes, takes you to Copenhagen Central Station from which you can easily get on around Copenhagen. S-trains runs daily every 10 minutes.

You can also choose to take the bike. There are 8 km to the centre with bicycle paths throughout. On your way you pass the Zoo and Søndermarken where you can take a little rest.

Of course you can also take the car to Copenhagen - it takes approx. 15 minutes. Please note that you must pay for parking almost everywhere in Copenhagen - and a parking space can be hard to find. Therefore, we recommend that you take the train.

Campsite with modern facilities and playground

At the campsite, there are two modern sanitary buildings, in which one besides bathrooms and toilets also are equipped with washing machines and the other with kitchen, family room, nursing room and handicap room. In addition a patio with tables and chairs for 50 people and a TV lounge.

Furthermore, there is a playground with a bouncing castle and table tennis at the center of the campsite - and for those who want to keep your fitness routine, there's a new gym with a rowing machine, treadmill and exercise bike.

It is possible to be connected to the Internet through our hotspot that covers the entire campsite.

Accommodation

You can come with your tent, your caravan, your autocamper or rent one of our many cabins.

All our cabins have toilets and in the cabins for five people there are also private shower.
